Four Unique Bangkok Eating Experiences

Eating Out in Bangkok

Bangkok has a huge array of places to eat ranging from simple to gourmet. Here are four unique Bangkok eating experiences that I think you would enjoy trying. The first two I would call gourmet but not necessarily at gourmet prices while the other two are what I would call speciality café style eating.

The Kinnaree Gourmet Restaurant Bangkok

Tucked away down  the bustling Soi 8 off Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok, not far from Nana BTS Station, The Kinnaree is a tranquil haven set back from the road and surrounded by a tropical garden.

An outdoor cocktail bar, along with the choice of alfresco or indoor dining leave the diner spoilt for choice, there are also private function rooms and a trendy wine bar.

A great place for a quiet evening meal before hitting the bright lights of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit Road and the surrounding area.

Bussaracum Restaurant Bangkok

Perfect for lunch with friends or business colleagues, try the all you can eat buffet for 250 Baht!

Coffee Beans by Dao Bangkok

I think many of the Thai customers probably go to Coffee Beans by Dao for the huge and tasty range of sweets that are served. They look and taste fabulous although for the figure concious it is perhaps better to stick to the less fattening main courses.

Given some of the more centrally located branches like Siam Paragon I would guess that a coffee and cake type break from shopping is a popular pastime there.

Definitely a lunch time or early evening venue the company has six outlets around Bangkok.  Sweets to die for!

Cafe G Bangkok

Cafe G specializes in a wide range of cuisines from around the world and the buffet style layout allows diners to eat as much as they like. There is a a nice mix of the best of Asian food along with popular Western dishes that include pastas and salads.

The open plan design also includes open kitchens and food preparation areas and features nicely presented serving areas. The spacious seating area which affords views outside onto the busy street is comfortable and tastefully furnished. It is also tranquil, relaxing and not overcrowded.

Another great lunch time venue that provides the last of my four unique Bangkok eating experiences.  Not far from the popular shopping area in downtown Bangkok the lunchtime eat as much as you like buffet for 229 Baht takes some beating.
