Thailand Trivia Photo Quiz.
Given that its the Thai New Year this week, the theme for this months Thailand Trivia Photo Quiz is perhaps, not surprisingly, “Songkran.” Now of course most people associate Songkran with water fights but as I mentioned in a recent blog post entitled “Thai New Year Songkran Festival,” its a lot more than that so here are some questions to test your knowledge and win a prize. Yes there is a prize for this months quiz but more of that later.
Questions.
- What astrological/Zodiac sign does the sun enter at the start of Songkran?
- What language does the Thai word Songkran originate from?
- In what year was the official Thai New Year moved to January 1st?
- What would you find inside the sand pagodas that are sometimes built in temple grounds during Songkran?
